We can report on our performance against your specific orders to your
sites
if required, so that you can compare with our competitors.
▪ Our fleet of delivery vehicles are owned by Buildspan and operated
by company employed drivers.
We rarely use couriers. All of our vehicles have trackers fitted so we
can check on deliveries at any
time.
▪ Our customers only have one telephone number to use for orders,
deliveries, enquiries and quotes.
Phone lines open weekday 0730 hrs to 1730 hrs (1715
Friday).
▪ Next day delivery is offered anywhere in England & Wales subject to
stock.
▪ There is no cut off time for next day delivery, subject to stock
availability.
▪ Carriage paid on all orders over £40 ex VAT.
▪ We can adhere to special requirements from our customers on call off
orders.
▪ We provide a comprehensive catalogue with product codes and list
prices. The extensive range
provides our customers with the ability to minimise their transaction
costs.
▪ Buildspan operate with a stock holding in excess of £2m from warehouses
located in Ash Vale,
London and Dronfield, ensuring a prompt and efficient delivery service.
▪ We accept customer VISA Purchase cards.
▪ We are fully operational with COINS so that we can work alongside
those of our customers who
operate this system.
▪ We issue customers with a CD containing our catalogue, COSHH and
Technical Data.
▪ We can provide periodic breakdowns of deliveries by site. Such a
monthly report has proven to be
invaluable
to Quantity Surveyors to make sure that cost recovery is complete.
▪ We can provide a report at the end of each contract showing what
has been delivered, and attach
the relevant COSHH and Technical Data sheets. This is used by our
customers for their QA
submissions at contract completion.
▪ We provide a comprehensive price schedule in electronic format for
ease of entry into our
customers’ systems or for comparison purposes.
▪ We undertake comprehensive monitoring of credit notes, analysed by
reason and take action to
reduce wherever possible.
We can report on your behalf if required to
enable comparison with our
competitors.
▪ Advice on solutions for problems on site – provided either over the
phone or through a site visit as
appropriate.
▪ We can provide training for operatives, either on site or at
manufacturers’ premises.
▪ Advice for QS or estimator on where/how to source products and
providing the COSHH and
Technical Data as appropriate.
▪ We are fully QA accredited and customers benefit from the efficiencies
gained from our QA
processes.
▪ Buildspan is a member of a number of professional bodies: British
Safety Council, Concrete Repair
Association, Concrete Society, British Precast Federation.
▪ A free of charge take off service is available.
▪ Guided tours of all of our operations are
encouraged so that our customers can see our
comprehensive product range and stock levels. These are
readily available upon request.
