Following the sad loss of Michael Fuller, a driver at Dronfield depot who died of bowel cancer on 23rd November 2006 a tandem skydive was arranged to raise money for ‘Beating Bowel Cancer’.  Jamie Horne, Maria Hurst, Ian Lockett and Vince Lunn successfully completed a sponsored 13,000 foot jump on Saturday 3rd March 2007.

In addition to this, Mick Belcher and Richard Kay from our Dronfield depot organised a charity football match that took place on Sunday 29th April in Dronfield. Friends of Mick Fuller played a Sheffield FC Allstars team, which included ex professionals David Hirst and Glynn Hodges. The match was attended by nearly 200 people and over £1,000 was raised for St. Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield.

Our original aim was to raise £5,000 for ‘Beating Bowel Cancer’ so we have been delighted to exceed this amount.
